Charles Palmer, Au.D., FAAA
Charlie began his career in audiology with training at the Department of Veteran’s Affairs while obtaining his master’s degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. He then continued his education receiving his Doctor of Audiology degree from the University of Florida. He has spent almost the entirety of his career in private practice, primarily focused on hearing aid selection and fittings.
His interest in communication disorders goes back to his childhood when he spent time in his mother’s office at the speech pathology clinic at the local university. With his interest in science and technology, audiology was a good fit and has proven to be a very rewarding career, spanning now over three decades. Growing up in rural Arkansas near the Ozark Mountains, he still enjoys spending his free time in the outdoors, especially hiking and canoeing with his wife of more than 35 years, Eilish.
